Textiles for WGSN trend forecast A/W 2015/2016
Visually, I was inspired by rhythms and simplicity of modern architecture, but at the same time I was also inspired by the everyday urban life; in particular how everything is being monitored or recorded. How data is being hidden from the individual. And how we are all just one piece of a bigger puzzle.
I started to notice rhythms in everything I was doing. From the daily rituals in the morning to the pulsing public traffic.
To show this clinical and synthetic appearance, I decided to use newer technologies such as lasercutting and vacuum forming.
